A warm welcome to explore the scientific findings by the Decarbon-Home project and discuss their societal implications to our last research seminar on 3 June 2026!

Decarbon-Home (2020-2026) is a Strategic Research Council-funded research consortium between five research institutes, now in its sixth year. Our key objective is to work with our stakeholders to find new ways to make housing more climate-wise in a fair and equitable way. In our final research seminar, consortium researchers present their latest and ongoing work along our joint path towards understanding and fostering social equity and climate-wisdom in housing, construction, and renovation. With Finnish empirical cases as their backbone, the presentations cover the range of the consortium’s research activities – citizen agency, socio-spatial inequalities, and co-creative solutions.
